Ekstrom Designs in Salt lake City, Utah builds Cool stuff……period. David Ekstrom (owner) is a walking Baileigh commercial. His entire shop is a Baileigh showroom.
David is known as “Coachbuilder1” on many of the Racing and Off Road forums that got him started in fabrication. Staying true to his racing roots, David started with race car fabrication and flourished in the fabrication world. After adding the RDB-250 tube bender and TN-800 tube notcher to his arsenal, David ventured off into the Off Road, Desert Racing and Rock Crawling market. Turning out some major “outside of the box” rigs, he became somewhat of a rock star in the industry.
As his popularity soared and demand for his products have sky rocketed, David has added the VM-942 Mill, R-M55 Roll Bender, CS-315 Cold Saw and his trusty DP-1000VS Drill Press.
Here are a couple pics of an award winning 2011 Toyota Tundra Crewmax that Ekstrom Design outfitted with their newly designed Patent Pending Roof Rack. It is unique as it is only 1″ above the top of the truck and contours the curves of the vehicle (thanks to his roll bending skills).
