Fred M. Butler retires at Baileigh Industrial from being the companies Chairman after 18 years of success!
During Fred Butlers tenure at Baileigh Industrial, Inc. he navigated the company through massive growth at one of the premier suppliers of metalworking and woodworking machinery throughout the world. Fred joined the board at Baileigh Industrial in 1999 as the Chairman while working as the President/CEO of Manitowoc Company. During his tenure at Manitowoc Company he was at the helm of the largest Great Lakes Ship Building company, the world’s largest lattice boom crane company (Manitowoc Crane), and the world renowned Manitowoc Ice food service group. During his 10 years at Manitowoc Company as the President/CEO revenue grew by 400% and earnings flew off the charts.
Stephan Nordstrom (Baileigh’s President and CEO) stated: “When Fred joined the board we were simply a small entrepreneurial startup company. Fred saw the company through double digit growth for 18 years due to his guidance, calm demeanor, and earnings driven mindset.” Fred’s final board meeting was held on November, 24th 2017. He has been held in the highest regards, and will be sadly missed!
